ACCN Pro - Advanced Certification
Once an individual attains CCN Pro status, they are then eligible to further extend their horticultural
knowledge and expertise by taking any or all of the three optional advanced exams. These are:
- Turf Management
- Irrigation
- Salesmanship
Upon passing any one of these advanced exams, they are awarded Advanced CCN Pro (ACCNP) status. The
Advanced exam program offers additional avenues towards the goal of certification - "Improving the
Quality of the Nursery Industry." It gives the CCN Pro the vehicle to continue their education in areas
relevant to the retail nursery industry. The Advanced CCN Pro is recognized by a separate certificate
for each area of proficiency and an Advanced name badge with gold stars representing each exam passed.
The advanced certification exams are held twice a year in July and November.
Locations are in northern and southern California. Advanced exams are given in conjunction with the initial certification exams. Dates,
locations and times are posted on this website approximately three months in advance. See
