Regular Member = Growers of nursery stock or Retail Garden Centers doing business in the state of California 

Associate Members = those in related horticultural business and landscape contractors, designers and architects; sod, see and turf growers 

Dues are based on annual sales.  There are Star (*) categories and then numbered categories based on the total sales for the year.  Regular members have a location in California either growing grounds or a retail operation.  Associate members can be located anywhere in the world and pay on their annual sales.

Both regular and associate members must pay a branch fee which means for any locations in addition to the parent location there is a $75 fee.  Information on the branch is placed in both the membership directory and the annual buyer's guide.

Individual, School, and Other Memberships

There are many types of memberships and they include: 

• Affiliate for employees of regular or associate members
• CCN Pro for those who are active California Certified Nursery Professionals
• Student for currently enrolled students in horticulture classes
• Education/Garden Writer/Research for those in the teaching, garden communication and research fields
• Colleges and Universities who have any active Ornamental Horticulture department and/or nursery on campus may belong to the association.
