BE A BETTER GARDENER

'BE A' BETTER GARDENER PROMOTES GARDENING AND OUR MEMBERS

For Gardeners -- The Better Gardener website has a gardening checklist for every week of every month.  This checklist will help plan gardening activities from planting for the season and how to keep the lawn beautiful to what to do to keep the garden free from pests. These mini-bites of suggested gardening activity help keep gardeners on track to having that beautiful yard that enhances the looks and value of their home.

There are also 3-5 articles featuring gardening ideas with the focus on what can be done in the garden for that month for planting trees, shrubs and annuals, lawn care, vegetable gardening, container gardening and involving children in the gardening experience.  New to the website will be recipes from the garden -- how to enjoy the fruits and vegetables grown right in your own backyard.

In addition, the gardening public is able to access a nearby CANGC neighborhood garden center by simply typing in their zip code.

For Members of the CANGC -- Gardening articles can be used in monthly newsletters.  Promotions can be placed in your newsletters for Better Gardener. Or, adopt the theme for your garden center 'Be A Better Gardener by visiting ZYX Nursery.'
