Most members of the Association—and many non-members—fail to realize that CANGC's advocacy efforts are wide-reaching and constant, reducing costs of operation by preventing legislation to impose new fees and taxes, blocking troublesome regulations and orders, and negotiating solutions with those charged with oversight of our businesses.

All of these efforts have a cost, and the wider the contributions across the community, the less everyone has to pay individually. For a number of years, a growing number of nurseries, greenhouses, and other growers and retailers have been "opting out" of their contributions to the Nursery One-Voice Fund, letting the remaining contributors bear their share of the load. Despite this, CANGC has been able to keep a solid communications message flowing to the legislature, regulatory agencies, and others that influence us. But it's essential that everyone step up now, or the entire structure is at risk.

Please send your contribution to the Nursery One-Voice Fund today. We suggest that at least 10% of your dues or a minimum of $25 go to keep our advocates speaking on your behalf.
