Types of Membership
Regular Member ($780/location): Firms who own or are engaged in operating a nursery business with locations in California
Associate Member ($530/location): Any individual, partnership or corporation engaged in a business related to horticulture other than the nursery business, including the growing of bulbs, seeds or turf sod or the provision of non-plant products and services, or if a landscape contractor or maintenance company or landscape architect shall be eligible for an Associate Membership.
Affiliate ($55): Employee of a Regular or Associate Member firm.
CCN Pro™, Member Firm ($35): Employee of a Regular or Associate member firm who is an active CCN Pro through maintenance of his/her certification status as required by the CCN Pro committee. Please note: This is for individual membership in the CANGC. This is separate from the annual CCN Pro renewal dues.
CCN Pro™, Non-Member Firm ($110): Employee of a non-member firm who is an active CCN Pro through maintenance of his/her certification status as required by the CCN Pro Committee. Please Note: This is for individual membership in CANGC. This is separate from the annual CCN Pro renewal Dues.
College/University Nursery ($110): Any two or four-year college/university that offers education in the field of horticulture and maintains a nursery operation on its campus, either retail, grower or retail/grower. Contact must be the head of the horticulture department unless appointed by the college/university.
Education/Research/Garden Writer ($60): Individual involved in education and/or research, or a Garden writer. Employment verification required.
Student (no annual fee): Any student in high school, or a two or four year institution. Enrollment verification required.
Privileged ($60 minimum donation): Any retiree from the nursery that makes an annual minimum donation of $50.00 to either the CANERS Foundation…Endowment for Research and scholarships or the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers.
Membership Fees are due on an annual basis. CANGC’s calendar year runs from April 1 to March 31.
