The CANGC Awards recognize individuals and companies for outstanding contributions to the association and the nursery industry of California. The Awards Committee meets annually to select the recipients of the association's annual awards: Pacific Coast Nurseryman Award, Young Nursery Professional of the Year Award, Elmer J. Merz Memorial Award, Ron Regan Education and Career Award, Supplier of the Year Award and the Bert Kallman Educator Award. The other awards are selected by their respective committees: Research, Jack Wick CCN Pro™ Award, CANERS Hall of Fame Awards, and the current CANGC Chairman of the Board selects the recipient of his Chairman of the Board's Award. The chapters submit nominations and recommendation letters for all the awards and they are taken into consideration by all of the committees.
