The California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers is made up of 18 geographical chapters. Each chapter has a set of officers and a board of directors. Some chapters meet monthly with a dinner meeting and others meet every other month. All members within a chapter are invited to attend. Some meetings are educational while others can be a joint meeting with another chapter, located at a member's nursery, horticultural facility, gardens or arboretum for a tour and dinner. Christmas parties, golf tournaments and fundraisers are often part of the chapters' calendars. Camaraderie is the keyword and it's good to know your neighbors.

All chapters send out notices as to when and where the chapters are meeting. Once you join the association, you are automatically entered onto the local chapter's mailing list and will be contacted. The exchange of information and professional contacts made on the local level is a fantastic benefit of association membership.
